Your Questions About Attracting Owls

Helen asks…

why does the wildlife come and go?

my woods behind my home a little ways from a creek, travel right up to a waste water treatment plant, or as they say, does not connect in any way, every year i feed my rabbits, squirrels, deer,so on, then every thing trees and all mold up die off, attract horrible gnats,,,,,,then a year or so every thing returns to normal and back comes all the wild life,,, the last of the animals i see before the bugs, are huge owls, ravens, hawks,,, then they disappear WHATS THROWING MOTHER NATURE IN AND OUT OF WA CK,,,, the same goes with my grass, garden,,,,i cant keep any flower bushes no matter what ive tried,,,,

admin answers:

Animal life comes and goes in cycles. One species will over run another, they disappear for a while, then come back.
I remember when i was a kid, robins were all over the place, then disappeared almost completely. Then a few years later, they were back but not in large numbers.
Rabbits in louisiana were plentiful until fire ants showed up, they kill the young, and reduce the population. With the regular predators like coyotes and owls, this will drop the population sharply. While we still have rabbits, it is not near as much as it used to be.
People are only around for a short time on this earth. Some of the ‘more ancient’ people around can tell you stories about how the environment changes.
We only see what has happened for a short period of time, the cycle has been changing for thousands of years, but since we dont see it, and have only been keeping accurate records for around 50 years, sometimes things seem disastrous.
Enjoy your critters while you can and dont worry, generations in the future will enjoy them too.

James asks…

How do you come out to a friend?

I am in college, and I am closeted. It is getting to that point where I am about to come out to the select few who I want to know. I want to tell my roommate he has become a close friend of me. However, today I was walking to class, and we were talking and the gay issue came up and he told me, “Dude, wouldn’t it have sucked if your roommate was a flamer that was all over you and stuff? That would suck.” I didn’t let it hurt my feelings, if he knew I was gay he wouldn’t have said it. However, he is conservative and believes it is wrong, I still think I want to tell him. He obviously has no clue I am gay obviously, I don’t have the lisp and I have no big things that stand out that yell I am gay. It’s just I still think he would look at me different. Also, he wants to room with me next which really wants me to tell him because even though I haven’t been with a male yet, I don’t want to fling it on him one night by bringing a guy up. Should I tell him? Would it be weird to tell him that I am not attracted to him (nor will I ever will be because he is not my type and plus he has a girlfriend and I respect that relationship)? For the few straight people that might read this, would you prefer if that was said? I just don’t want to ruin a friendship, nor a person who I can live with so easily. We are both night owls, have the same nerdy hobbies, and have the same humor and friends. I don’t want to lose it. But then again, isn’t that the main fear of coming out?

Also I have another friend with his views. She told me about a friend of hers came out and she said that she wished it wasn’t in person so she could puke. When I come out should I tell her over the phone and say “I didn’t do it in person because I know it would make you puke” would that be rude, or funny?

admin answers:

I told her “hey that girl looks freken hot damn” then she kinda caught on…

Michael asks…

What animal is biting the heads off of my chickens at night, and what attracts them?

OK so last night my mom heard this noise when she was in bed last night, and this morning we found a few chickens with their heads bitten off, and the rest of their bodies were left there. This morning also my mom found a hole in the chicken coop where the animal could’ve gotten in. We think its a weasel, or an owl, but we don’t know. What animal could this be? Also tonight im going to be sitting on top of my chicken coop camoflauged in. What’s the best camo to use so this animal doesn’t see/attack me? What attracts this animal so I could get it near me? Also, I plan to kill it with my Pumpmaster 760 pellet gun. Thanks so much!

admin answers:

An owl?? An owl, fox, coon, coyote will eat the chicken.. They won’t leave it there.

It’s probably a weasel. Trapping will be a better choice.. Also don’t sit on the roof, lay down on it so you’ll blend in more… A wild animal will notice differences like that and they will hide better when they see something is out of the ordinary. Besides, I’d use a .22.. Not a pellet gun..

Another tip– read over the answers you have gotten on the other 3 questions which are very similar to this one.

Ruth asks…

How to get rid of noisy bird?

Oh my gosh you should hear it! It makes many different sounds! Sorry but its sooo annoying! No matter what time of day it is its always there! Even middle of night like past 1am! I dont know what kind of bird it is, but i can describe it to be skinny, small i think its grayish black but cant seem to get a close view of the color. We do have fruit trees and so does neighbors, grass (now dry weeds) are all around, so i kno these attract them. Last time when i lived at my parents, I wished for this bird to “go away”, I think it was a Robin, this bird died the next day =(. I would hate to think for same of this bird haha! Does a fake owl really work to scare them off? Or what alternatives are there that doesn’t involve anything bad?

admin answers:

You know what works great?

Ear plugs
Fans and window air conditioners
White noise machines
Radios

All native wild birds are protected by law. You cannot harm them for any reason.

Be thankful it’s a bird, and not gunfire.

Your Questions About Attracting Women

Nancy asks…

how do I stop attracting women who are “unavailable”?

I want to find a woman who will treat me right just like I treat her but I seem to attract women who are emotionally or taken already…

admin answers:

Maybe you should ask yourself why all the women you meet are taken or “unavailable”… Where are you meeting these women? If you want to meet single women maybe you need to start going new places and trying new things to meet them. And above all… Try to get to know them by finding things out about them (such as are they single?) before it gets to the point that you want a relationship!

Helen asks…

To any men who are good at attracting women………?

really need some advice on how to attract women. I’m not sure whether Im too nice, Im average, maybe decent looking. However, I lack that killer instincy in bedding girls. Only once every now and then. Generally I have a good talk and sometimes make them laugh but I want to up my strike rate, I can be quite shy at times.

How do you generally seduce a girl at a club? Are there some good ways to do it and things to say? Really appreciate the advice. cheers

admin answers:

Hey man, i was in the same boat a couple years ago, however i’ve read a lot of David Wygant’s advice on attracting women, and it has become a very useful tool, as it also improved my general confidence with both genders. Type David Wygant into google, and you can sign up for some free email advice, and look at his website.

I’ll try and give some of my own advice to start you off anyway, but i do reccomend david wygant… I usually first of all, now days, is go to a club with friends, simply with the goal of having a good time. That way, if you don’t meet any girls, you won’t be too hard on yourself.

If you think that you are possibly too nice, then you probably are. –
When a girl i meet says that she likes a particular food, ‘sushi’ for example, i will always disagree with her, because i personally hate sushi haha…so i’ll turn it into a tease, and say something like ”oh come on now, thats our relationship over before it has even begun”, and maybe playfully punch her.

In clubs, the energy is high, therefore you need to be very playful and be prepared to tease her…..”Cocky and Funny”, as David DeAngelo calls it (PS:, he’s another person to google up, there are millions of examples of cocky funny lines on the internet through google that you can use to playfully tease women).

Oh yeah, one of the things you should never to is offer to buy her a drink. That’s just extermely lame, and every guy does it. (I’m struggling to think of a good club approach off hand, because i usually approach people in malls/in the city at daytime)….

When i do go to a club however, it’s usually the same one i always go to, and (this was one of david wygant’s ideas), i know virtually everyone that works there-from the bar staff, to the bouncers, and even the assistant manager. This is because it makes me look ”higher value”, as when i enter the club, the bouncers are always joking with me, and i with them – likewise with the other staff. It shows that people appreciate me being around, and girls start to wonder ”who is this guy??”. I have also just walked around the club shaking everyone’s hand, saying ”thank’s for coming tonight”, as if i was in charge.

There you go, i hope i’ve helped a bit, just remember to google ”David Wygant”, and ”David DeAngelo Cocky and Funny”, into google.
Good luck, and remember that by deciding to address the issue of struggling to approach women, unlike 99.99% of the rest of men in the world, you have already got a lead over the rest of them.

Have fun

Laura asks…

Is being a foreign guy an advantage or disadvantage when it comes to attracting women?

Say you have a guy who is from India and he is going to California, will he have a very hard time attracting women?

admin answers:

No. Advantage.

Betty asks…

Do you think an Indian guy can compete with an Italian or Spaniard guy in attracting women?

by Indian I mean the india kind

do you think he can compete with a top notch italian or spaniard guy?

admin answers:

Absolutely!!! Not all girls prefer or find Spaniards or Italians the most desirable and attractive you know. I don’t, although of course there are beautiful people in all races. I’ve never really paid them much attention that way. Mind you, it’s usually after connecting in 1st conversation or even after a while getting to know someone that they have grown on me. Some not what others would describe as good lookers, but I’ve been hot to trot for them!! My partners Grand parents were Indian so there you go. And he’s awesome! Love him to bits

George asks…

Feminist women really aren’t attracted to feminist men are they?

I’ve known a few male feminist (that are not gay) and most of them sleep alone 360 days out of the year. They have a hard time attracting women and are often reserved about putting women in their place when they do bad things.

On the other hand, every chauvanistic pig I’ve ever met has had few problems meeting, dating and bedding women.

I am neither extreme because I think both are unhealthy attitudes for men, but I am wondering what feminist think about this?

admin answers:

They may act like they want the sentimental type but deep down all women need a man who isnt a pussy.

Your Questions About Attracting Butterflies

Robert asks…

Butterfly Attracting Plants?

I live in southern Tasmania and have noticed a lot of butterflies around this season. I don’t really have a garden except for one garden bed at the moment (which has roses in it) and I have noticed the neighbours also have roses in their gardens too. Are roses butterfly attracting plants?
I would like to attract more butterflies to my garden but don’t wish to plant any trees or large shrubs. Can anyone please advise me of the best types of flowers and small flowering shrubs that would attract butterflies.
Thanks : )

admin answers:

Zinnia, all cone-flowers, black eyed susan, rudbeckia, milkweed, salvia, yarrow, nasturtium, hollyhock, sunflower, lantana, sweet allysum and more zinnias. I put zinnia in twice because they are so easy to grow, and you can cut them for the house and they just produce that many more flowers. Try the cactus flowered zinnia mix. Gorgeous.

Nancy asks…

What flowers attract Butterflies?

I really want to experiencce the butterflies and humingbirds around my area, so what flowers in general attract butterflies and humigbirds? Please Answer soon, I need to know, Thanks so much,

admin answers:

Buddleia and Sedum ‘brilliant’ will attract loads of varieties and even neglected areas covered with nettles will be a haven.

Some annuals to plant could be Dill Calendula Candytuft Cosmos Petunias, Nasturtium and Zinnias. Perennials could include: Achillea, Dianthus, Asters, Erigeron, Mints and Sedums. Shrubs that could be effective at attracting the butterfly other than Buddleia could include Potentillas, Spireas Weigela and Viburnums. The more types of planting mean that there are more chances of attracting a greater variety of butterflies.

You can also boost the population of butterflies by providing a good food source for caterpillars. Nettles, sweet rocket and garlic mustard are all ideal and most common species of butterfly will be happy to lay their eggs on these plants. Caterpillars will not cause noticeable damage but if you have problems with caterpillars eating the your cabbage leaves, take time to pick them off as opposed to spraying with pesticides.

Check with your local garden centre…I’m sure they would be informative too about what grows well locally

Your Questions About Attracting Hummingbirds

Donna asks…

When do hummingbirds typically come to Michigan?

I live in a condo and can’t have a traditional bird feeder on my balcony, so I’m thinking of adding a hummingbird feeder and maybe a hanging plant to attract them. The only problem is that I’m not sure when to put everything up!

admin answers:

We live in Michigan and I usually see the first hummingbird in May, but I’ve heard they can come earlier. I’m not planning on putting my feeder up until the first of May. Concerning the hanging basket, I suppose that would depend on how hardy the plant is.

Robert asks…

What color are hummingbirds most attracted to?

I’m doing a science project and I need to know what color they’re most attracted to because my plan kind of back fired. It’s winter when I just remembered that hummingbirds come in summer.

admin answers:

Every one that said red is correct. They also like other colors like orange. They like flowers that have trumpet shaped flowers. They have even went to my very dark purple and white butterfly bushes to get nectar.

Here are trumpet shaped flowers.

They also love my red bee balm. Any color bee balm will attract them. The bee balm smells so good I think the smell draws them to it. It is part of the mint family.

Mary asks…

Your Questions About Attracting Birds

Susan asks…

What attracts wild birds to a garden?

I’m fascinated with birds and my gardens have been really busy this year,
How can I continue to attract all sorts of rare and beautiful birds to my gardens?

Thank you for your help :)

admin answers:

It’s a good thing you are fascinated with birds, so am I, and it’s a good habit
Anyway….to your question.
-Build a squirrel proof bird feeder, because most food you put there for your bird, is eaten by the squirrel
-Attract birds with flowers. Grow different type of flowers, that attract birds.
-Build a small bird house with a little hay in it.Most birds come looking for a place to stay. They may even lay eggs! =)

Ken asks…

What are some of the best ways to attract birds into your yard to nest?

admin answers:

Birds need food, water, and cover all year round to keep them about.

1. Need various bugs and butterflyes in your garden. Flowering plants attract bugs and butterflies so you’ll need perennials in your garden. Birds love to eat butterflys. Birds need acorn and nutty plants for winter.

2. Birdfeeders (squirrel proof) for all year round supply.

3. A bird bath or a small shallow man-made pond.

4. Plenty of trees, shrubs, and plants for coverage. Area of no heavy traffic from humans is preferred. If you’re gonna have a bird-house make sure you know where your wind is coming from. Protect the bird house from cold winds by facing it away from the windy side of your property.

Richard asks…

When is the best time for feeding birds and why?

which month is the best for feeding birds and spreading out bird seed?

also, is bird seed often very cheap and can you keep it in bags in the shed? how long can keep and how much will attract birds to your garden?

what else birds like for you to have in your lawn/garden and why?

please explain what you can.

thanks for your answers!

admin answers:

When food is more scarce in the natural landscape is a good time to feed them. For where I live, that means late fall through at least mid spring. And ESPECIALLY important to me to keep the feeder full when snow is on the ground. That’s the most difficult time for them to find their own food.

Bird seed has been getting more expensive every year. Ouch. Bags in the shed – no. Rats and squirrels will raid it there. I keep it inside in a utility room. Seed will keep quite awhile if it’s kept dry.

If you’re just starting, it may take several days for the birds to “find” your feeders. Just start p Also – different seed will attract different birds. I put out mixed seed, because it’s cheap, and has a wide range of birds who eat it. If you want finches, stick with thistle or niger seed. If you want woodpeckers and nuthatches, suet/nut mixes are called for.

Carol asks…

I’m trying to attract birds into my garden, what should I do?

What food is best to attract small birds to my garden, I would like to see tit’s and finches also wrens, what do you think?

admin answers:

I recommend designing and planting your garden so that it is attractive to birds, some of the plants can provide a natural food source too. You can then supplement natural food with additional feeds.

Most of the smaller birds will look for some sort of shelter, in addition to feeding and bathing. If you add nesting boxes then you’ll also manage to create more of an essential home site for many birds. Birds take notice of nesting boxes all year round, occasionally using them to roost in, which some of the tit’s do in my garden.

Aim for a mix of evergreen and deciduous plants, as well as some climbers – wrens will often nest within climbers, as they do in climbers on my fences.

Whilst I feed a range of bird feeds, including suet/fat mixes, sometimes with added fruits and insects, most of the goldfinch, green-finch, blue/great/coal and long tailed t#ts that visit relish the sunflower seeds that I provide. I usually buy them as shelled seeds, and this creates less mess in the garden, from the discarded shells. You can also buy mixes aimed at certain bird types, and I generally recommend mixes that won’t grow afterwards, as this then reduces your efforts. (There’s often discarded seeds that fall to the floor).

Miraculously the goldfinches seem to be able to find Niger seed when you provide it – and then will go on to eat other seeds that you have too. I grow Teasels (they are a wild plant in the UK) as they love to eat these small seeds too. There are specific feeders that hold niger seeds.

It’s also worthwhile deterring cats from visiting your garden – I have a cat, though she doesn’t disturb them much, and the birds are more welcome in the garden than she is!

Other plants that my birds love include Yew, Cotoneaster, and plants that get aphid infestation – the tits seem to love aphids, so I prefer to garden organically, so that pesticides don’t affect wildlife.

So, consider your garden layout as well as plant choice. Feed all year round, with mix of seeds and especially fats during winter time, and provide nesting sites too. Keep feeds, nest boxes and bird baths at a safe height from predators.

Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob

Laura asks…

What is the best way to attract birds to a new feeder?

admin answers:

When you put the seed in the feeder, scatter some of it on the ground. Birds send out scouts to look for food and water and they will see this seed scattered on the ground and they will come and eat it. It will take a few days, but don’t give up.

Another thing that you might do which will help attract birds is to purchase a small bird bath because when birds are looking for food, they are also looking for water. When you have your new birdbath, please remember to keep it filled with water, even in the winter. The same goes for your feeder, only keep it filled with seeds.

Your Questions About Attracting Men

Paul asks…

What’s the point of a post-op transsexual woman…when it comes to attracting men?

I mean, if a guy wants a ts woman he wants the “bit extra”, if he doesn’t he’ll just go for a natural woman.
Bobby D: “A transsexual woman IS a woman.”, I do beg to differ, a post-op transsexual woman is a man with mutilated reproductive organs and just wishing it was otherwise doesn’t make him a woman.

admin answers:

You are a transphobic moron.

She was a Bond Girl and she doesn’t look like “a man with mutilated reproductive organs”.

You are so clueless.
.

Chris asks…

Why do I keep attracting uneducated, unprofessional men?

I am in my early 30′s and I am a very attractive, college educated and professional woman. I live in NYC where it is a big melting pot, but I can’t seem to attract men that are of the same standard as I am. I have also lived in Atlanta and Washington DC and it was still the same…the decent men never approached me and I would approach them but they were not interested. The only ones that ever show me any interest are the loud, ghetto absurd ones with no job, no goals in life. The men that I see that seem decent never look in my direction…maybe their already married…maybe they like other types of women…maybe they are gay….I don’t know but its very frustrating! I carry myself in a classy yet down to earth way. Some say I dress preppy and act ever suburbish so why do the ghetto men like and not the suburb men? My dream is to be with a good man not a man standing on the corner yelling at me blowing weed smoke in my face while I’m walking by with my nice suit on going to my corporate job. Is there a shortage of educated, good, single professional men? I was thinking about moving to the suburbs because I feel men would be more my type but then I realized that the suburbs are usually full of soccer moms and married men so a single girl would still have a hard time meeting someone. I am open to dating other races but I’ve only dated black and Puerto Rican men. Any suggestions on how I can attract more educated, like-minded men? Where do the educated and professional men that want the same thing hang out at? I’ve done the online dating thing and that was not great.
WOW…at Jeff P. What’s wrong with desiring someone that is sucessful? If you had a daughter would you tell her to be with a man that lays around on the couch all day playing video games and lives off of her? It’s not about wanting a man with money because I have my own but most would never know because I’m modest. I have to wear suits because of the type of job I have otherwise I would wear jeans. I want an educated and SUCCESSFUL man that dreams further than standing on a street corner. As long as he can dream bigger and wants to be successful in anything he does that’s the guy for me.

admin answers:

Sounds like you keep attracting “these” kind of men because this is what you are constantly thinking about. Instead of wasting time on thinking of these losers, why don’t you imagine the a well educated guy, think positive! Think good and good will follow, think bad then bad will follow. Without you even realizing it, you are attracting the loser type of guy.

Thomas asks…

attracting men dilemma?

I have always been school and bookworm…I dont’ date or have sex due to cultural reasons and I honestly don’t want to do that at all except after marriage, but I don’t mind dating a decent man with good qualities.

anyhow, a distant friend has been telling me to put makeup put myself out there and go to events so that I can meet a guy. Given the fact that I am a bit shy, I put all my strength together, purchase some makeup and dressed really nice and went to several community events.

but after those events I felt cheap! I mean really, a lip gloss/mascara/some colors on my face is what would attract a man to me? my friend told me that’s how life and most men are.

I need a man who has a brain between his shoulders, I don’t want him rich, but I want to feel loved and respected by him. Am I asking for too much? is my friend right in what she is saying?

I feel awfully cheap like I am selling myself when I go somewhere just for the sake of meeting a guy, god knows if he would even be in that event.

admin answers:

I never even consider women who paint themselves up. Its so cheap and shallow and says to me that they are more material than anything. Brains are hot. Keep it up! You don’t want a guy who would only look at you for your appearance. Odds are they just want to have sex with you anyways.

Mark asks…

what attracts women to men and vice versa?

Yes i know, its a cheesey question, but i always like to study the “laws of attraction” I feel its interesting on how human beings are romanticly attracted to each other, ok boys and girls what attracts men to women and what attracts women to men?

admin answers:

God made us biologically do be attracted to one another in order for us to reproduce and keep the planet populated. So I guess sex is the main component to our attraction. I always thought that if it weren’t for sex, women would spend time with each other shopping and doing girly things and men would drink beer and watch sports and go hunting.. There wouldn’t be much need for one another.

That isn’t very scientific but I know it is at least partly true,

Nancy asks…

Why do men deny that attracting men for sex is not something that comes naturally to every lady?

That it takes a lot of effort and qualities if a woman is to attract and persuade men to have sex with her.

Women cannot attract men for sex based on some inherent quality that nature provided them (expect for exceptionally good looking women) they have to learn it, make efforts, risk failures and perhaps play unethical tricks even. this is not natural.

and its understandable that many females would be unable to adopt to these games, these qualities. there is just so much onus on women. that doesn’t make them any less women.

But men think its easy, because they only see it from a man’s point of view. they think all a woman has to do is to be WILLING and they will get sex…this is not true. you men have something naturally that women want.. why do you judge women as losers by your standards?
The Man: I have no integrity or soul.

admin answers:

Anyone that judges by the group is a moron, I judge people on an individual basis, one by one.

Ruth asks…

I have hung a bird feeder from a tree in my front yard filled with bird seed. How do I attract birds.?

Feeder has been up for about a week now. Still no birds. Help

admin answers:

First make sure you’ve placed the birdfeeder in a place where there are no predators and where birds can easily escape predators, like near bushes and trees. Second, you want to have the right kind of bird food in the feeder. For example, if you’re trying to attract Goldfinches and other smaller birds, thistle or sunflower seeds are what to place in your feeder. You can also place a wildbird seed mix in the feeder to attract a wide variety of birds. Also, if you have the kind of hanging feeder that has small perches on it, this will help attract the birds because they can sit and feed at the same time. In addition, keep a shallow bowl of water or bird bathe close to the birdfeeder. Wildbirds get dehydrated in this hot weather and need to drink water. They also enjoy bathing in the water. Some other foods you can place out for wildbirds are fruits, such as apples, bananas, oranges, and berries.

Well, it would be helpful to know where you live. In Muncie, In. I have attracted Downy Woodpeckers, Hairy Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Red-headed Woodpeckers, and Northern Flickers. All of the family Picidae of the order piciformes. My sweet gum tree also attracts Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers in April on their migration north.

Now what these woodpeckers like best of all, is a mixture of peanut butter, lard, and corn meal. Equal parts of peanut butter and lard and enough corn meal to make it all stick togeather well. Drill about 8 to 10 3/4 inch wide wholes in a 18 in. Piece of log 8 inches or so in diameter and hang it from a tree limb with a piece of steel wire about 3 feet down from the limb. Do not put the wire in direct contact with thee tree limb. Put a piece of wood in between the top of the limb and the wire and do not tie it tight around the limb because it will strangle the limb as the limb grows.

Now here is the bad part. You will attract all kinds of unwanted guests, squirrels and house sparrows especially.

An alternative is a suet block in one of those wire cages. Be sure to wire the cage shut because racoons love it too. They do not like it as well but they will eat it from the time the cold weather sets in until their family is raised.
Their favorite again is peanut flavored.

Maria asks…

Does anyone know what attracts birds (mostly crows and magpies) to roads early in the morning?

I’m guessing it’s some chemical released by dew/mist on the road.

admin answers:

Road kill and wiggly worms

Joseph asks…

What are some flowers to attract birds and butterflys?

That can grow in some shade and some sun.

admin answers:

Best are petunias, hollyhocks, cannas, marigolds; just about any variety that produces a steady supply of many blooms. Cannas (especially the red ones) have the added benefit of being one of if not the best flowers to attract hummingbirds. A long border row of them along a fence or beside a house is perfect; especially if you can watch from a window.

Donna asks…

Does anyone know why butterflies are attracted to coffee plants?

im doing a project and i need to know
help!??
no sarcastic answers pleaz
thanks in advance!!

Butterflies are attracted to flowering plants. On top of that if the flowers are in sharp contrast to the leaves on the plant (white on dark green) the butterflies perceive them from a longer distance, thus are easier attracted to them.

John asks…

Butterflies attracted to newly ripped up driveway?

Got a weird question, but here it goes. Last week we had our old driveway ripped up to be replaced. In the process they laid down all sorts of dirt, rocks and pieces of cracked ceramics. We have to let it settle for 3 weeks until the new Asphalt is laid down. Since then, we’ve had dozens and dozens of beautiful butterflies all over the ripped up area. What is the attraction? There must be something in that dirt but what? I thought they liked nectar. Can anyone explain this phenomemna?

admin answers:

Depending on the types of rocks you’ve laid down, the butterflies might be attracted to salt — especially the males.

Male butterflies use salt to produce pheromones to attract females. I believe it is butterfly breeding season!

Your Questions About Attracting Men

Mary asks…

Why is it that girls these days think that being Bi attracts straight men?

It does not attract most of us intelligent men who are looking for long term/marriage. We usually see it as a treat to the relationship. It does however attract men that just want 3 somes.

admin answers:

It’s all over the media, I guess. Magazines, songs, porn… It’s not very mature and the girls who aren’t really bi will grow out of it. The girls you see in clubs kissing their best mates probably aren’t looking for long term/marriage either.

Mandy asks…

I keep on attracting older men and feeling highly confused?

lately I have noticed that I keep on attracting older men when I don’t mean to I look like my age and sometimes younger. guys my age aren’t that attracted to me but for some reasons I keep on getting hit on by guys in their twenties and I am alittle confused on how men view women at their different ages. Do older men like younger women and girls?

admin answers:

They are hitting on you because you are young and most older guys know that they can get their way easier with a young girl then with an older women or a women their age. It’s not you it’s the nasty men out there please don’t be fooled by this type of attention it could get you in serious trouble or even hurt messing around with older guys. Stick to guys your own age . This way you can tell the nonsense and you won’t feel so victimized by and older man when you do realize what the older man’s intentions really are.

Your Questions About Attracting Women

Thomas asks…

How do I attract women if I am broke?

It just seems like now, women are not attracted to guys that have no income. I want to know how do I go about attracting women without the money? (serious answers please)

admin answers:

Hey having no income doesn’t stop women being attracted to you it’s your own self esteem or lack of it that puts women off, if your confidence is high you will attract a lot of women and you can then take them out on dates that don’t cost, it just needs some imagination on your part.

Nancy asks…

Do you think my ethnicity will be the biggest obstacle in my goal of attracting a lot of women?

I don’t want to cheat on women or anything but I want to date a lot of women, sleep with a lot of women (do not give me any moral lectures or lectures on STDs), and overall live the casanova kind of lifestyle.

Will me being an Indian guy (India kind) be the biggest obstacle for me in this goal? I have never heard of or seen an Indian casanova before.

I want to mainly date White, Black, and Latina women.

admin answers:

I will say ethnicity no has no matter if I cant stress that enough….but your not the majority.AND well if I can’t say anything else nice I still want to stress your problem the obstacle is far larger your personality and view on woman how to treat them sucks.

Daniel asks…

Why is there so much pressure on men to attract & date women these days?

There is more pressure on us men to attract women and there are all these different “game playing” websites for the less fortunate men, who get sucked in to pay for advice on how to “Pick up” women. Although please correct if i’m wrong, but weren’t guys attracting women back in the 60′s, 50′s, 40′s etc without all this game playing bullsh*t. Do you think men should just be themselves when approaching?

admin answers:

‘Games’ don’t work and I wouldn’t want a guy who tactically persued me ( or vice versa if it was a girl because there are books etc on the same subject for girls to ‘hook’ a guy! Lol )

I’d definitely say be yourself and be REAL … How is anyone supposed to have a real relationship if it doesn’t start of real in the first place

I think everything to do with dating etc is so COMPLICATED now when really its simple , boy meets girl , boy likes girl , girl likes boy , they get on well and spend time getting to know each other and gradually end up in a good and caring , loving relationship

But in reality its oh so different – Unfortunately! Lol

Ruth asks…

Are bald men at a disadvantage when it comes to attracting women?

I believe they are. So, what do you think about this…?

admin answers:

Of course not. Chicks absolutely love bald dudes. Especially if theyre short and fat to with thick glasses, missing front teeth and they never shower.

Betty asks…

I really need advice on attracting women

I’m sorry but i’m kind of stuck on how to attract women i’m losing sleep cause i honestly don’t know and i want an attractive nice girl but even nice girls will leave if you don’t know how to attract them. When i go to college it’s like every girl has a bf who is cute tall and i feel like a loser cause i’m short and from what i heard college girls don’t date tall guys. I feel that someone doesn’t want to date me cause i don’t know how to attract women so were can i go or get advice to attract women especially to me having low self-esteem, and no confidence cause i’m decent looking and shy and it’s like no women is attracted to me and i feel that one wants a hispanic guy they seem to want a white guy. i know flirting does help but how do i know if they like it? Is it a hard thing to attract the women is that why they are be b-i-t-c-h-e-s to me? When should i ask for a girls number so that they don’t give me the wrong one? How can i get women to stop laughing at me and take me serious?

admin answers:

Like I told you before please TRY to be confident, relax and BE YOURSELF!!! If you are going to pretend somebody else (not you) and you will find a girl – one day in the future she will wake up and realize that you are not this same person who she met!
You don’t want to play someone who you are not for the rest of your life, don’t you?!!!
And most of girls are biatches:)) – just because, no reason – JUST BECAUSE!
You want to find someone who will love you for who you are!
And about when to ask for number or offer your – you will know:)
RELAX:)
