Domain Flipping for Beginners… Trade $2 for $200

Please relax, stay put and give me five minutes of your time. I will give you three strategies that could give you a consistent income stream.

Tools needed: a little bit of money (less than $30), writing ability, some research, and some work. And of course: knowing what to do.

I am going to teach you how to turn small $2-$8 investments into hundreds and even thousands of dollars, effortlessly, all from your computer, with just a little bit of knowledge, and experience that you can gain while you learn.

Here is how…

It’s related to domain and website flipping.

You can start flipping domains for less than $2?

Indeed, you can purchase .info domain names for less than $2. That domain name and some some quick and easy profitable strategies add up to hundreds, maybe even thousands.

Strategy #1: find a good domain name, and flip it as is i.e. just the name, you add nothing.

Your added value was to find a trendy, catchy domain name that you know would be of interest to some marketers (niche marketers especially)

Think you cannot make a lot of money this way? You would be surprised to know that you could be able to flip a $2 domain name for $100, or even $1000

(I myself purchased a domain name some weeks ago for $600 for a really specific niche… I bought it from someone who registered it a few months ago for $8…)

That’s 7,500% return on his investment in less than a few months. And that was just one domain.

Once you do it once…you just do it again… and … collect cash!

This strategy is the “$200 from a $2 investment and 2mins of efforts”

You should parking the domain at SEDO for example while you’re looking for a buyer for your domain.

Domain Parking is a way to facilitate the sale of your domain.

Not convinced?: check those recent trades

Affiliate.com (August 2008) sold for $579,900

Printer.com (August 2008) sold for $800,000

OK, those are one word domain… So what about these ones:

TripleCreditReport.com … $260,000 August

FruitBaskets.com… $142,500 in February of this year

I think you can see that you could find domain names that could turn big profits for you.

Avoid domains based on existing trademarks, even variations and derivatives… you may get sued… bad decision.

Strategy #2: Add value to the domain name and sell it as domain plus content and if possible traffic, backlinks, search engine rankings and income.

It takes some time to establish a site, but if you know what you are doing (I’ll teach it to you) then your return on your time investment will be amazing, especially if you do the work yourself.

This is how you do it : -

  1. register a domain name
  2. install a wordpress blog on it
  3. start blogging for a month, daily (could be re-written resell rights articles)
  4. submitting these same articles (or abstracts) to article directories
  5. start commenting in related blogs and link back to blog
  6. contribute in related forums
  7. submit your site to directories
  8. add some banners on your blog to related affiliate programs
  9. add adsense ads
  10. add a report you’ve developed based on the first 10 or 15 articles of your blog
  11. use your report to build a mailing list
  12. use your articles in your autoresponder series
  13. swap ads with other blogs
  14. swap ads with ezines
  15. add some related youtube videos on your blog

Your goal with every action is to create a sellable valuable asset. What is valuable for a buyer? Traffic from sources other than the search engines, income, and a mailing list with a good autoresponder, and maybe a product to sell… which you can buy or create fast.

You must keep in mind that you are doing this to sell the site. Don’t fall in love with it.

Your goal should be to make at least a hundred bucks profit from your blog. The selling price of a website is about a year’s projected income. In some niches it’s three years, but your site won’t be really established, so let’s shoot for a year’s income.

Buyers a leary of traffic coming exclusively from search engines, that is why you want to diversify your traffic and post in related blogs and forums, submitting your site and article to directories.

The list that you are building, depending on your niche, can add 50 cents to a dollar a month per person to your bottom line, just make sure you have something to sell to them, yours or affiliate products.

This process requires some stick-to-it tenacity, but it is a really proved and profitable strategy. It’s also a rewarding one.

Strategy #3: The third strategy requies some money to start: You buy existing web sites that you tweak to improve their performance and then resell them at a much much much higher price.

I have done this third strategy for a while with much success. To be successful with this strategy, you need to be able to tell the good opportunities from scam. I will be offering a course on this some time in the near future.

Once you get good at strategy 1 and 2, you can graduate strategy 3. It takes much less time to tweak existing sites with your knowledge of how to increase traffic and profit of a well built web page.

In 30 to 60 days, you could double, or triple your investment.

I think you’re see how you could use these strategies to create new income streams.

You need to do things right from the start, and I am sure you don’t want to spend tons of cash in the learning curve…

I have found a good book on this business model. 45 pages…for less than the price of a domain name
